Join the University Community Orchestra for an evening of inspiring orchestral music featuring talented musicians from the university and the greater Milwaukee community. The concert showcases a diverse program of beloved classical favorites and audience-pleasing selections.
Sing Out brings together 750+ 9th-12th grade and 350+ 7th-8th grade tenor-bass singers from over 60 schools from around Wisconsin and Illinois. No advance preparation is required; students learn pieces at the festival and conclude the morning with the high school and middle school choirs singing for one another and together. Additional activities include performances by the UWM Tenor-Bass Choir and interest and reading sessions for directors.
UW-Milwaukee alumni, stone sculptor/painter SHADDSTONE©️ collaborates with alumni master percussionist Martin Shadd and friends, to present an experience of abstract/impressionism as music. The musical journey will be performed on unique and traditional instruments to create a series of “sound-escapes."

The High School Honors Band Festival provides the region’s most motivated and accomplished high school wind, brass, and percussion students an opportunity to work with each other and with regionally and nationally recognized conductors.
