PROFconnect is designed so instructors may easily view and manage accommodation related information submitted by ARC students. This portal allows instructors to see and update information for a course without the need to navigate through strings of emails.

By logging into this portal, instructors can:

  • View a list of all students in your course(s) who have accommodation requests.
  • List types of accommodations for these students.
  • Complete, view, and edit Alternative Testing Agreements for exams proctored at ARC.
  • Complete, view, and edit Academic Flexibility Plans for your courses.
  • Place Media Accessibility Requests, as well as locate the link to show media that has been made accessible.
  • View class notes provided for students receiving note taking assistance.

Important Information for Completing Alternative Testing Agreements

  • ARC students with testing accommodations will be unable to schedule any exams to be taken in ARC’s Testing Center until the instructor completes an Alternative Testing Agreement for the course.
  • The Alternative Testing Agreement is not complete until the instructor lists exam dates and times. All exam dates and times can be entered at the beginning of the semester or throughout the semester. They must be entered two weeks prior to the exam, in order for a student to schedule their exam request.
  • Testing is offered in ARC during business hours only:
    • Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, for regular semester exams and quizzes.
    • In blocks during Final Exam Week, with exam start times of 8am or 1pm. When adding Final exam dates and times to a testing agreement, please use the start times for ARC testing, not the exam time listed by the university.
  • Students may schedule exams up to 2 weeks before the last day of the semester (Study Day, not the last day of Final exams), after which students will need to contact instructors to set up testing outside of ARC. For this reason, it is imperative that any Alternative Testing Agreements be completed before the scheduling deadline.
