ARC staff supports access for the campus community by providing sign language interpreting and real-time captioning services at public events.
- Assignments over an hour and 15 minutes may require two interpreters or real-time captionists.
- All requests must be canceled within two full business days during normal business hours (for example, if an event starts at 4 pm on Thursday, it must be canceled by 4 pm on Monday). The department making the request may be responsible for any charges if cancellation occurs less than two full business days.
Due to the high demand for interpreters in the Milwaukee area, we request a minimum of five business days to secure accomodations for your event.
