- Move your body every day in ways you enjoy, solo or with friends
- Get plenty of consistent, quality sleep
- Eat nutritious foods – mostly colorful fruits and veggies!
- Take breaks from screen time an social media and hang out with friends in real life
- Avoid using alcohol and other drugs or minimize risk from harm by taking precautions
- If sexually active, plan for sober, safer, and consensual sex
- Practice mindfulness for better focus, stress management and self-compassion
- Engage with YOU @ UWM for tips, guidance, self-assessments and resources to support your physical wellness
Be Well in Community
- Get active & play with University Recreation and in a Fitwell course
- Participate in wellness and safety programs on campus
- Can’t afford balanced meals? Visit the UWM Food Center & Pantry
Be Well with Professional Support
- Keep up to date on your vaccinations, health screenings and testing for sexually transmitted infections
- Seek professional medical advice or treatment for injuries and illnesses
- Utilize local routine, urgent and emergency medical and safety resources as needed
- Seek support for additional basic needs with student assistance
