Why buy when you can rent? With over 1,500 pieces of equipment, Outdoor Pursuits can outfit any adventure you have in mind including camping, water sports, winter sports and more.
Who can rent? UWM students get first dibs! Those that have eligible Klotsche Center memberships can also rent. UWM departments that are looking to rent equipment can email the Outdoor Pursuits Program Supervisor.
How long can I rent? You can rent item(s) for up to 30 days at a time unless otherwise stated. Please note that there is a different rate for each additional night.
Picking Up/ Returning: All equipment can be picked up and returned at Outdoor Pursuits in the Klotsche Center 131a anytime we are open. What if Outdoor Pursuits is closed? Equipment can be returned at the Klotsche Center Information Center during open hours even if Outdoor Pursuits is closed.
Reservations: We currently do not have an online reservation system. Give us a call at (414) 229-5513 to reserve equipment ahead of time or stop by in person.

Rental Agreement Policies
Equipment Check Out:
Every effort is made by Outdoor Pursuits to provide safe and well-maintained equipment. As the renter you are solely responsible for making sure the equipment suits your needs and that you know how to properly use it for your outing.
Damaged Equipment:
Equipment that is returned damaged will be assessed to determine the replacement or repair cost for the damaged
item(s).
Lost/ Stolen Equipment:
You are responsible for the security of your rental equipment. Any equipment that is lost or stolen will be assessed to
determine the replacement fee for the particular piece(s) of equipment.
Late Fees:
Equipment that is returned late will incur a late fee. This fee will be charged when the equipment is returned by the
renter according to the additional day/night rates.
