Memberships must be purchased at the front desk of the Klotsche Center and Pavilion
Students
Students currently enrolled in courses at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee on the Milwaukee Campus and paying segregated fees have access to the UREC facilities, programs, and services at the Klotsche Center, Pavilion, and Engelmann Gym. Use your Panthercard ID or download the UWM UREC APP to experience all that UREC has to offer.
Students only enrolled in UWinteriM courses must pay a $20 membership fee to access facilities and services. Current UWM students not paying segregated fees in the summer (paid segregated fees in the Spring semester and are enrolled in the upcoming Fall semester) must pay a $65 membership fee to access facilities and services in the Summer term. Any College or University enrolled students are eligible to purchase a Summer Membership for $90.
Student Spouses, Dependents, and Recent Graduates
Memberships are permitted, for an additional fee, for a spouse and/or eligible dependents of the primary student or member. dditionally, they have the option to sponsor themselves by purchasing a guest pass to enjoy the Klotsche Center and Pavilion.
Recent graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Campus are eligible to purchase a discounted membership.

Faculty/Staff
Both current and retired UWM Faculty/Staff are welcome to acquire UREC memberships. Additionally, they have the option to sponsor themselves by purchasing a guest pass to enjoy the Klotsche Center and Pavilion. Valid documentation demonstrating current or previous UWM employment must be presented for verification purposes.

Alumni
Supporters who are part of the UWM Alumni Association as Sustaining Contributors are eligible to purchase a Sustaining Contributor Alumni Membership. We offer a variety of membership options including Annual, Semester, and Summer choices to suit different preferences and schedules.
How to become a Sustaining Alumni?
- Any individual may become a Sustaining Contributor of the UWM Alumni Association by donation of $500 or more through the UWM Alumni Association.

Memberships are prorated on a daily basis and can be purchased at the University Recreation Information Center in the Klotsche Center and Pavilion Atrium. Please call 414-229-3914 or email u-rec@uwm.edu with questions.
Memberships are permitted, for an additional fee, for a spouse and/or eligible dependents of the primary student or member. A Faculty/Staff or Sustaining Contributor who does not wish to have their own membership may sponsor their spouse/domestic partner or eligible dependent for the primary membership but must be physically present for the transaction. The primary (higher) member rate will be charged.
- A spouse is defined as two married individuals.
- Please provide the following for verification prior to membership purchase:
- Marriage Certificate or
- Evidence of joint use of the last name including:
- State-issued pictured license with the same address or
- Joint utility bill with the same address and picture ID or
- Joint savings or checking account with address and picture ID or
- Joint ownership of an automobile with address and picture ID or (Title or Registration)
- Joint use of and liability for credit cards with picture ID
- Please provide the following for verification prior to membership purchase:
- Dependents are biological or legally adopted children. Dependents qualify if they are at least 18 years of age, but not older than 22 years of age at the time of sale. Documentation will be required. Dependents under the age of 18 or older than 22 are not permitted to be added to a membership nor parents, siblings and/or roommates.
