UREC Weight Room Renovation Project
University Recreation is excited to announce changes are coming to the Klotsche Center Weight Room this summer. Read more about the changes coming here.

University Recreation is open and welcoming to guests for students and members alike. Those visiting UWM on professional trips like conferences, and those residing in University Housing for a summer internship also have opportunities to use the Klotsche Center and Pavilion gym.

Guest Passes

UWM-sponsored guest passes include the use of a free daily lock and towel, and grant access during regular operating hours on the day of purchase. Members are responsible for checking out equipment for their guests, including the day lock and towel. When re-entering the facility, guests must be accompanied by their sponsor and present their receipt and photo ID.

Additionally, faculty and staff non-members, have the option to purchase a guest pass for themselves without needing a sponsor. In this case, a Faculty/Staff PantherCard must be presented.

Sponsors are responsible for the conduct of their guest(s) and must stay with their guest(s) while in the building. Failure to do so may result in the guest(s) being asked to leave the building and the sponsor may have their sponsor privileges revoked. Self-sponsored and member-sponsored guests are not permitted in Klotsche Center & Pavilion Activity rooms (KC 104 and KC 110).
