I became a registered nurse in 2003. I have worked in ortho/trauma, medical/surgical, and hematology/oncology/palliative care acute care settings. My current area of practice is Hematology/Oncology/Palliative Care. I am an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and Hospice and Palliative Care Association, serving on various planning committees within the local and national chapters. I am passionate about hospice/palliative care and advance care planning.
