Dr. Gwon’s long-term goal of research is to help young adult Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) users quit ENDS use. He is particularly interested in cognitive and psychosocial approaches for ENDS cessation among young adults. He has developed an innovative mobile-based attentional bias modification training program to improve their addiction-related outcomes (cotinine, physiological reactivity, nicotine dependence, and urges) and text-based ENDS cessation intervention. He also looks at public health nurse workforce factors in relation to improvements of health outcomes among populations with special health needs. He places a high value on collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches. For more information, please visit www.joshuagwon.com.
