Rachel Barbon, PhD, RN

Rachel has been working in the School of Nursing since 2019. She is a graduate of UWM's BSN and PhD programs. Rachel is interested in safe infant sleep in the Latinx population. For her dissertation, she explored bedsharing perspectives in Latinx family caregivers. She also worked as an ambulatory float nurse prior to obtaining her PhD.

Rachel’s research interest includes safe infant sleep in the Hispanic population. She is currently working on her dissertation to achieve her PhD in the College of Nursing. Prior to becoming a clinical instructor, she worked as an ambulatory nurse, floating to all different departments.
