Campus life during pandemic: Library gets a little more quiet
Like the rest of campus during the coronavirus crisis, the Golda Meir Library is different now. Tables are spaced out and some areas are closed, but it remains a place where students and others can work in peace and get the info they need.

Supply drive helps schools during difficult times
This is the fourth year the African Diaspora Council, which includes 240 Black faculty, staff, retirees and alumni of UWM, and the police department have held a drive for LaFollette. Response was so strong this year that enough supplies were available to also donate to Hopkins-Lloyd.

UWM is once again serving as an early voting site for the Nov. 3 general election. Any City of Milwaukee resident can register and vote weekdays in the UWM Student Union from Oct. 20 to 30.

UWM reports high donor support, focuses on student success
UWM posted its second-highest fundraising year in the history of the university. Between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020, nearly 6,000 donors gave $35.2 million to the UWM Foundation, which supports UWM.
