UWM announces best fundraising year yet
UWM has announced its highest fundraising year in the history of the university. More than 5,000 donors gave a total of $46.1 million to the UWM Foundation, which supports UWM. The previous record, set in 2018, was $38.6 million.

Owen Rice, a pitcher, was chosen in the 20th round on Tuesday by the St. Louis Cardinals, becoming the 26th UWM player selected by a Major League organization in program history.

The UWM women’s tennis team won a Horizon League award for having the highest GPA of any team in the conference. Across all of UWM, 105 student athletes posted a GPA of 3.8 or higher this past spring.
