“Entrepreneurship has been a large part of my life for over 40 years including several startups, 23 years of college teaching in entrepreneurship, and economics-oriented nonprofit philanthropy,” Hunter said.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes business leaders from over 145 cities and 60 countries. The award has regional award programs, like the Midwest program, as well as a national award program.

Hunter is being recognized for his work as chairman and CEO of Dynamic Solutions Worldwide. Dynamic Solutions Worldwide has grown rapidly since its start in 2010 to now being the leading supplier of mosquito traps nationwide.

“Much more growth is planned as the company seeks to make peoples’ lives better by substantially reducing mosquitoes in yards and homes,” Hunter said.

Award winners will be announced June 12 at an event at Navy Pier in Chicago.
