Help recommend students for the Student Association

Do you know a student dedicated to advancing the student experience at UWM? They are encouraged to participate and run for office in the Student Association, which is UWM’s student shared governance. The Student Association plays a vital role in representing the diverse voices and interests of our student body. Student involvement also is key to retention and student success.

Faculty and staff who have recommendations of students are asked to email the student’s name to Ben Minogue, interim director for Student Association Professional Staff, at minogue@uwm.edu. We will follow up with the student directly to help them through the nomination and signature collection process. Students can also submit their own nominations at this webpage.

Nominations and signatures for the spring election are due March 15 at 4:30 p.m. Find more information at this Spring 2024 elections webpage.
