UWM will join more than 160 locations across the metro area on Sept. 27 and 28 in participating in Doors Open Milwaukee, an annual celebration of the city’s architecture, history and neighborhoods.
University buildings that are participating in Doors Open include:
- School of Freshwater Sciences building, 600 E. Greenfield Ave.
- Kenilworth Square East building/Peck School of the Arts, 2155 N. Prospect Ave.
- UWM Biological Sciences Rooftop Greenhouse, NWQ building, 2025 E. Newport Ave.
- Thomas A. Greene Geological Museum, Lapham Hall, 3209 N. Maryland Ave., Room 168
- Manfred Olson Planetarium, 1900 E. Kenwood Blvd.
In addition, the studios of WUWM (a service of UWM’s College of Letters & Science) — at Chase Tower, 111 E. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 700 — will participate on Saturday.
