Quigley to Japan for Fujitsu research in AI

Doctoral student Daniel Quigley has been offered a summer position in Graduate Research in Industrial Projects for Students, a program at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics at University of California, Los Angeles, which is sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Daniel will spend the summer in Sendai, Japan at Tohoku University with the Fujitsu group. The title of the project is “Fujitsu: Enhancing explainability of causal discovery AI”,  in which students are expected to devise and implement a new user interface of causal discovery AI, in order to enhance the explainability of causal discovery AI.
