UWM Linguistics will be well represented at the upcoming 170th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, to be held in Jacksonville, FL, Nov 2–6:

• Hanyong Park will present a poster entitled “Production and perception skill developments of Korean coronal obstruents by inexperienced English-speaking learners of Korean”
• Dylan Pearson, Amara Sankhagowit (MA 2015), and Hanyong Park will present a poster entitled “The effect of background speech variation on perceived foreign accent”
