As Geek Culture continues to evolve alongside LGBTQ+ identities, they’re bound to intersect. With this, comes homophobia and transphobia in “geek” spaces; conventions, gaming, and social media. However, as the presence of LGBTQ+ people in “geek” media increases, its time to address the concept of Queer Geekery and push for representation.
