Coming Out Monologues

Each year on October 11th, National Coming Out Day is celebrated to spread LGBT visibility and awareness. The UWM LGBT Resource Center is celebrating the event with the annual Coming Out Monologues – an open forum for students to share coming out experiences through storytelling, slam poetry, song, dance, or in whichever medium they express themself best.
The evening will have an open mic portion, but if you are interested in sharing your story in this safe environment, you can reserve your spot by contacting peerout@uwm.edu with ATTN: Sarah/Monologue as the subject.
This event is FREE and OPEN to the public!
