Join us in celebrating the Class of 2024 Lavender Graduates! Each year, we recognize graduating LGBTQIA+ students and their allies for their personal and academic accomplishments while at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Lavender Graduation, at its foundation, celebrates the achievements of each graduate while respecting their gender identity, gender expression, and sexuality. Alongside LGBTQIA+ students and their allies, we also recognize the LGBT+ Studies Certificate awardees, nominated student leaders who have received scholarships centering LGBTQIA+ advocacy or excellence, and scholars striving towards equity and justice for LGBTQIA+ communities.
