Glacial sedimentology, glacial geomorphology, and sequence stratigraphy on glacial to post-glacial Permo-Carboniferous successions in west-central Gondwana. The study areas include the western Paraná Basin (central Brazil), Huab Basin (western Namibia), and the glacial valleys of the Kaokoveld (northwestern Namibia). The research main goal is to better understand and constrain the glacial timing, cyclicity, and paleogeography in this Gondwana domain during the Late Paleozoic Ice Age and the transition to post-glacial conditions.
