Doctoral students Lisa Roth and Megan Orcholski win Elianna G. Berg Award

Congratulations to doctoral students Lisa Roth and Megan Orcholski for both winning the Eliana G. Berg Award for Graduate Research from UWM’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. Lisa won first place for her essay, “Can She Perform Her Civic Duty?: Media Framing Creating Constraints on Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s Ability to Control Her Narrative;” Megan won third place for her essay, “Was it Consent?: The Babe.net Controversy and the Definitional Marginalization of the Affected Body.”
