The UWM Student Success Center (SSC) provides tutors and Supplemental Instruction Leaders (SI Leaders) for all enrolled students. The SSC is now hiring for Fall 2023, offering paid positions for both tutors and SI Leaders.
Tutors and SI Leaders often work with students in the following courses:
- Academic Skills Tutors
- ASL 1 – 4
- Biology 150, 152, 315, 325
- Bus Admn 202, 210, 350
- Computer Science (various courses)
- Economics (various courses)
- German (various courses)
- Math 92/102 – 211
- Math 231 – 234, 240
- Nursing 101, 102, 203, 251
- Physics (various courses)
- Spanish (various courses)
However, positions are available for tutoring and leading in other courses.
