Congratulations to AADS Alumna Teonna Cooksey who has been honored with the Rising Star Award by the Sierra Club of Wisconsin. She was recognized at the Second Annual African American Environmental Pioneer Awards ceremony on February 22, 2021. Teonna currntly works as a Racial Equity and Climate Resilience Planning Fellow at the City of Racine. She received her B.S. in Architecture, a certificating in Urban Planning, and a minor in African and African Diaposra Studies from UW-Milwaukee.
