Senior Mechanical Engineering student Andrew Thompson received an Undergraduate Research Travel award to present a paper on the optimization of magnetostrictive cellulose nanofibral composites at the 2017 Advancements in Fiber Polymer Composites Symposium in Madison in May.  Andrew’s work is advised by Electrical Engineering Professor Chiu Tai Law.
