The Sport Clubs Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee takes great pride in ensuring that our sport clubs have access to top-notch equipment for both practice and competition. We understand the importance of having the right tools to excel in each sport, which is why we offer a comprehensive equipment checkout and return system. Whether it’s soccer balls, basketballs, tennis rackets, or any other necessary gear, our club members can conveniently borrow the equipment they need from our well-stocked inventory. This seamless process allows them to focus on honing their skills and pushing the boundaries of their performance without the worry of equipment limitations.
Additionally, we recognize that competition supplies are critical for our sport clubs to shine in their respective leagues and tournaments. That’s why we work closely with each club to ensure they have the required competition supplies at their disposal. From specialized uniforms that exude team spirit to essential competition gear and accessories, we strive to meet our clubs’ specific needs. Our dedicated team collaborates with club leaders to understand their competition requirements and provide the necessary support, so our athletes can compete at their best on every stage. At the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Sport Clubs Program, we believe that well-equipped clubs lead to empowered and successful athletes, fostering an environment where dreams become accomplishments.
The Sport Club Equipment Room is conveniently located in Klotsche 137, situated at the east entrance of the Klostche Center. For individuals who are unable to make team-scheduled check-outs, an alternative option is attending the weekly hours for equipment pick-up. However, only active club members listed on the official team roster are eligible to check out equipment and/or uniforms, and they must present a valid UWM Panther Card during the check-out process.
To access Sport Clubs equipment and uniforms, groups need to determine their specific equipment check-out date(s) by coordinating with the UREC Sport Club staff. The officers of the club can request these dates by reaching out to sportclubs@uwm.edu. Once again, it is essential to present a valid UWM Panther Card during the check-out process. On the other hand, equipment and uniforms must be checked in on the determined team check-in date(s), also scheduled with the UREC Sport Club staff. Failure to do so may result in a $15 late fee.
Individuals checking out equipment are responsible for returning the items in the same condition they received them, accounting for reasonable wear and tear. The person who checked out the equipment is accountable for any damages or missing items and will be required to pay for their repair or replacement. If equipment and uniforms are not returned by the designated deadline set by the UREC Sport Club staff, a student PAWS HOLD may be placed. Similarly, a student PAWS HOLD may be imposed if the replacement cost for damaged or missing equipment/uniforms isn’t received by the deadline designated for the club. Lastly, students returning equipment after the specified equipment and uniform deadline designated by the Administrative Sport Clubs staff will be subject to a $15 late fee.
Uniform Check-In
Sport Club members are required to ensure that uniforms being checked in are washed and clean, as only such items will be accepted during the check-in process. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the non-acceptance of the uniforms at check-in. It is important to note that late fees, if applicable, will still be enforced in such cases.

- Sport Club Canopy Pop-up Tents
- Camping Tents and other gear (At outdoor pursuits for an additional cost)
- Gatorade Coolers with dispenser (7 gal & 10 gal)
- Travel Benches (3-seat & 5-seat)
- Bow Banner Flags (8ft & 11ft)
- Video/Photo Camera
Equipment and uniform items acquired through segregated fees will be considered the property of UWM, and UREC will monitor and keep track of these items. It is essential to note that using items purchased with segregated fees for academic, personal, political, commercial gain, or any other unauthorized purposes not approved by UWM is strictly prohibited.
