UWM’s Office of Licensing and Product Development offers resources both for UWM students and student-athletes interested in expanding their personal brand, as well as licensees who have an interest in selling student or student-athlete-branded merchandise.
The office specifically gets involved in name, image and likeness matters if the university’s brand in used in any way.
Non-athlete students, student-athletes and businesses considering projects that would incorporate both their personal brand and the university brand are asked to fill out this request form before coming to any agreement.
Panther student-athletes are also available for additional NIL promotional opportunities through MKE Connect, the Official NIL Marketplace of the Milwaukee Panthers.
