The UWM Help Desk phone line (414-229-4040) is getting an upgrade thanks to Teams Calling.
Starting Monday (8/10), callers will have new options to choose for connecting their calls:
- Help Desk
- Classroom Services
- Desktop Support
This will allow you to call just one number for all your IT support needs. You can also submit requests online through our website, or you can leave a voicemail if you are calling outside of business hours.
Which department should I dial?
Most requests should begin with a call to the UWM Help Desk, who solve most common technical problems for the UWM community.
Call Classroom Services directly for problems with technology in a UWM classroom. This option will connect you to the Classroom Hotline without having to remember another number.
If you are a UWM employee having problems with your UWM computer, you can call Desktop Support for assistance. This can also be a convenient way to check on a computer that is in for service.
