So are we! Luckily, Teams has tons of shortcuts built into the search bar to make your life easier.

If you ever need to change your status in Teams:

• Type a slash (/) into the search bar
• Followed by busy, away, free, or whatever status best describes your current availability

To look for a specific chat or channel message:

• Start by typing slash (/) into the search bar
• Then, type the word find
• Next, select a chat or channel from the list
• Finally, search for a word or phrase in the message you’re looking for

To see all of Teams’ shortcuts, all you need to do is type slash (/) into the search bar and scroll away!
