About Dr. Baker

I am a first-generation, transplanted Buckeye, college graduate from a traditional blue-collar family. Working my way through college, my resident hall assistant job changed my career path from teaching high school to working with college students. I’ve been told I am an over-achiever which apparently is characteristic of a middle child. As a glass half-full person, I am blessed with a fulfilling career, husband, two grown children, and five grandchildren. Most of all, I love influencing students as they develop purpose, set and achieve goals, and get excited about their futures while earning their degrees.
