UWM to offer flu shot clinics

In preparation for flu season, UWM will offer four flu shot clinics, beginning Oct. 5.

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get flu shots to contribute to the overall good health of the UWM community.

Clinic dates and times are:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Union Fireside Lounge,
  • Tuesday, Oct. 11, 3-7 p.m. at Sandburg Hall,
  • Wednesday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Union Fireside Lounge,
  • Tuesday, Nov. 15, 3-7 p.m. at Sandburg Hall.

The cost is $10 for students, $20 for faculty and staff and $25 for community members. Cash, check, credit card and PantherCard are accepted. Neither Medicare or other insurance is accepted. Community members must be at least 9 years of age or older.

Students unable to make these clinics can call (414) 229-4716 to make an appointment at Norris Health Center for a flu shot.

The clinics are sponsored by the Norris Health Center, in partnership with the College of Nursing, Union Marketing, Union Programming and University Housing.
