UWM invites community to participate in chancellor search listening sessions

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is inviting students, faculty, staff, business leaders and community members to participate in a series of listening sessions as part of the search for its next chancellor. These sessions, led by the Universities of Wisconsin Search and Screen Committee, provide an opportunity for the UWM community to share input on the qualities, skills and vision they would like to see in UWM’s next leader.

The feedback gathered during these sessions will play a key role in guiding the search committee as it identifies candidates who embody the values of UWM and will support UWM’s unique mission of performing world-class research and ensuring collegiate access for students from all backgrounds. Involving the community in this process is essential to reflect the diverse perspectives and values the university has to offer.

Each listening session will focus on specific stakeholder groups, but anyone may attend any of the listening sessions. All listening sessions will have a virtual option for those unable to attend in person.
