UWM Green Fund applications are open until Feb. 28

Students can apply for support of their projects that promote sustainability on UWM campuses. The Green Fund application is from now until Feb. 28.

The UWM Green Fund, supported by segregated fees, aims to foster a more sustainable campus by funding student-led sustainability projects. Students are required to create a strong plan that moves UWM to a more sustainable campus culture. Students are mentored throughout the implementation of their projects.

The Green Fund has helped fund projects such as the UREC Sustainability Camper, UWM Bublr Bike student memberships, Ban-the-Bag initiative and the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences’ green roof restoration.

Find more information and apply at the UWM Green Fund webpage.

For questions about the program or applying, contact Bailee Jones, the chair of the fund, at brreuter@uwm.edu.
