Purpose of Meeting: 1. Call to order
2. Approval of minutes from June 15, 2018
3. Delegating to the chair the management of departmental operating expenses (supplies and expense accounts) as well as the appointment or promotion of classified personnel (University Staff) pursuant to Chap. 4.05 (3) of the UWM Faculty Policies and Procedures
4. Delegating to the chair the appointment of ad hoc instructors
5. Appointment status of an academic staff member. This portion of the meeting might go into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. §19.85 (1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility
6. Planning for 2018-19 performance evaluations
7. Adjournment
