Flu shots available on campus

Flu shot clinics will be offered on the Milwaukee campus on several dates in October and November.

One set of clinics will be held on four dates beginning on Oct. 12.

These flu shots are offered to students, faculty and staff. Cost is $10 for students and $20 for faculty and staff. Insurance is not accepted.

The clinics will be:

  • Monday, Oct. 12 – Student Union Fireside Lounge (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Norris Health Center (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, Nov. 4 – Fireside Lounge (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 10 – Norris Health Center (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.)

This clinic is presented by the Norris Health Center, in partnership with the College of Nursing, Union Marketing and Programming, Union Operations and University Relations.

Another set of flu shot clinics will be offered by UW System on two dates.

These flu shots are available for free to employees and spouses enrolled in the State Group Health Insurance Program (dependents are not eligible).

The clinics will be:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 27 – Student Union Wisconsin Room, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 4 – Student Union Wisconsin Room, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Employees in the state group insurance plan can also get a free flu shot at any Navitus in-network pharmacy.
