Achieving Excellence in Campus Data and Analytics

Ron Yanosky, director of research delivery for EAB, will offer two sessions on data analytics and decision making.

Two identical sessions on “Achieving Excellence in Campus Data and Analytics” will be offered on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Each will include a 90-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute discussion. They will be held in Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Complex room 1150.

Yanosky will present EAB’s research into higher education’s best practices.

Especially encouraged to participate are those campus professionals engaged in:

  • data-driven decision-making (deans, directors, department heads)
  • data analytics
  • report writing
  • records management
  • information security (IT professionals).

EAB is a Washington, D.C.-based membership organization that provides peer-tested research on best practices in higher education’s most pressing issues.  EAB features over 1,100 college and university members, conducts over 10,000 research interviews per year, and draws upon a dataset of over 1.2 billion student interactions.

The event is co-sponsored by UWM’s Office of the CIO and the Office of Assessment and Institutional Research.
