According to McLean’s website, “I’m in Pittsburgh and It’s Raining” is an experimental portrait of a lighting stand-in/body double whose work and corporal self appears in films even if her name does not. The film offers a look behind the silver screen.

The film has also been featured at six festivals around the world, including the Chicago Underground Film Festival, Athens Film and Video Festival and European Media Art Festival. It won first prize at the Onion City Experimental Film and Video Festival.

A recent interview with McLean is featured in INCITE Journal of Experimental Media.
