Types of Reportable Conduct
UWM’s Discriminatory Conduct Policy (SAAP 5-1) prohibits discrimination and discriminatory harassment based on:
- Age
- Ancestry
- Arrest or conviction record
- Color
- Disability
- Gender identity/expression
- Genetic information
- Identity as a veteran, disabled veteran, or Vietnam veteran
- Marital status
- Membership in the national guard, state defense force, or any other reserve
component of the military forces of the United States or the State of Wisconsin
- National origin
- Pregnancy
- Political affiliation
- Race
- Religion
- Sex
- Sexual Orientation
In addition, UWM’s Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Policy (SAAP 5-2) prohibits sexual violence (including sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and domestic violence) and sexual harassment.

Title IX
If you wish to report a Title IX-related incident, including incidents of sexual violence or sexual harassment, please submit a report to UWM’s Title IX Coordinator, or contact one of UWM’s Deputy Title IX Coordinators. More information about reporting options for incidents involving sexual violence or sexual harassment is available on UWM’s Title IX website.
Hate/Bias
If you wish to report a hate/bias incident, please use the online Hate/Bias Incident Reporting form. After your report is submitted, you will be contacted by an EOCR investigator. More information on hate/bias reports is available here.
