Title IX Contacts

The Title IX Coordinator is UWM’s designated employee with principal responsibility for coordinating Title IX compliance efforts.

The Title IX Coordinator oversees the monitoring of University policy in relation to Title IX law developments; investigation and disposition of Title IX complaints; and Title IX training for the UWM campus communities located in Milwaukee and Waukesha.

Title IX Working Group

The Title IX Working Group at UWM meets monthly to discuss policy implementation and revision, assess the effectiveness of training and educational programming, address campus climate issues, and provide guidance to the Title IX Coordinator.

The following offices are represented on this working group: the Dean of Students, Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights, UWM Police Department, Athletics, the Student Health and Wellness Center, University Housing, Legal Affairs, student-serving offices, and representatives from other units may be invited as appropriate.
