EnQuest 2026 Overnight Camp Registration

UW-Milwaukee EnQuest Overnight Camp is a one-week summer camp geared to inspire more high school girls to pursue engineering; a college experience with an engineering project made possible in part thanks to generous support from ATC, the Diane K. Schlitz ’59 & Harold L. Schlitz ’59 Memorial Fund, American Family Insurance, Creation Technologies, Eaton, Generac, and anonymous donors.

The EnQuest Overnight Camp meets from 6:30 pm on July 26 to 3:30 pm on July 31. The camp is a live-in college experience with a hands-on project.

The participant fee is $585. The fee covers a portion of camp costs, with additional costs sponsored by the UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science and our sponsors. Camp Fee Scholarships are available to provide the EnQuest experience to students for whom the fee is a barrier to attendance. 

If you apply and your plans change and you are no longer able to attend EnQuest Overnight Camp, please notify UWM as soon as possible.

NOTE: While this program is geared toward high school girls, registration is open to all qualified students regardless of their sex or gender identity.

Once you are notified that you are accepted into the camp, a payment of any amount towards your camp fee secures your spot in the camp (with some exception for camp fee scholarship recipients).  The remaining fee is due along with required medical/permission forms on July 1.

NOTE about UWM Dorm Room Assignments:  UWM assigns roommates and suitemates by gender. Housing for minors will be assigned in alignment with participant’s gender identification.  UWM realizes that traditional assignments may not be comfortable for all participants and programs may designate a suite or room assignments for those identifying as non-binary.  Applicants may request a specific roommate; requests are granted if both agree.  Individuals have the option to Opt-out of overnight or residential experiences in which they feel uncomfortable or cannot be accommodated.  Families who have an issue with housing assignment practices that cannot be resolved may opt out of the program.

Deadline: Please register by June 20, 2026.  You will receive an email confirmation within a week of registration.

All Parents or Guardians must complete the EnQuest Overnight Program Participant Form for each camper before the the camper is allowed to participate. Please feel free to complete the Participation Form the same day as the Application Form.

Participants will stay with the group at all times unless given permission by your counselor to go to a nearby location in a group of 3 or more
Participants will take part in all activities, unless other arrangements are made with consent of your parent/guardian
Participants will follow residence hall suite curfew rules (remain in suites between 11 pm and 7 am unless an exception is given by EnQuest leaders or counselors, respect quiet hours)
Illegal behaviors are prohibited – this includes controlled substance use, and smoking or vaping for people under age 18

Scholarships

The Overnight Camp Fee is $585. Limited scholarships from $50-$585 are available based on need. Camp scholarships are not guaranteed but we will make every effort to meet requests.
