The College’s influence extends well beyond our campus. We are active members of our community and support the development of engineering and computer science interests in Wisconsin’s secondary schools.

Girls Who Code Club

For students in grades 5-12. To encourage interest by girls in computing and all of the opportunities it provides, UWM’s College of Engineering & Applied Science hosts a Girls Who Code Club during the academic year. The program is led by computer science faculty and female instructors are UWM computer science students.

EnQuest

College for Kids & Teens

Enabling summer students of all ages to get a feel for STEM fields, the College of Engineering & Applied Science leads select, hands-on sessions. UWM’s College for Kids & Teens offers summer courses on a wide variety of topics. 

NAF Future Ready Scholars

Summer camp including hands on design, engineering and construction skills for rising MPS (Milwaukee Public Schools) junior and seniors.
