Let’s get to know each other as we start the spring semester. This event is for all students, faculty and staff from the College of Engineering & Applied Science.
All activities are free and are designed to be low-stress and to generate some good fun for all.
SOUP & CHILI COOK-OFF
Your faculty and staff will prepare their best soup or chili for everyone to try. Free samples! Vote for your favorites. EMS Lobby, 11 AM – 1 PM.
Check-in to get everything you need to sample all the chilis and soups, your dry beans for voting, and be entered to win a CEAS beanie hat! Must be present to win.
STUDENT ORG FAIR + LUNCH
Find out all the cool things our engineering and computer science student orgs are doing and learn about how to get involved. EMS Lobby, 12-2 PM
Check-in to get your stamp card and sub sandwich and drink. Get five or more stamps to be entered to win a CEAS beanie hat!

CS Connect and Career Advisors will be on hand with last-minute career fair tips to help you stand out. Check out the employer list, get a quick resume review (and printing!), practice your elevator pitch, and hear tips that have helped CS Connect members land internships and jobs. Plus—free coffee, tea, and breakfast while supplies last ☕. EMS Lobby, 9-11 am
