Department Hires for Next Year

The department completes a successful job market season by hiring two new academics to begin as assistant professors next year.

Jangsu Yoon joins us in the fall following his Ph.D. from UW-Madison. He specializes in econometrics and currently studies inference in game theoretic models.

Kevin Thom will begin with us in January 2019.  He currently teaches at New York University and specializes in development, labor economics and health economics. Much of his current work focuses on genes and labor market outcomes.
