Bio
Carly Rishel is a Wisconsin native and current UW-Milwaukee student studying Design and Visual Communication. She loves art in its many forms, whether that is painting, drawing, or designing, playing her violin, bass guitar, or ukulele, or sewing her own costumes and clothes. Carly really loves trying new methods to be creative, even if it means dealing with more art supplies than she can actually store in her home. When she’s not thinking about art, she is probably thinking about Disney. She spent a semester working at Disney World her sophomore year directly after spending a month in Italy, and those experiences really shaped who she is today. It was her first sense of true independence and it impacted many areas of her life in positive ways. Carly is still figuring out what area of design she loves best, but her current design internship at Baird has opportunities for her to explore and grow as a designer. As a current design student, Carly is exploring and learning more and more every day, and enjoy working with her design community to grow as a designer!
