IMCP alumni work in investment firms, major banks, research firms, corporations, and government organizations around the country.

Tight-knit with their cohort while students in the program, alumni continue to make connections with each other post-graduation. Their professional network is enhanced by invitations to join IMCP-sponsored events and webinars that keep them connected and up-to-date on cutting-edge topics in the field of investment management.

The IMCP Alumni Directory (password protected) helps alumni and students maintain ties throughout their careers.

IMCP Alumni Spotlight Profiles

Marco Spada (’11) is currently a Senior High Yield Analyst-Director at Northwestern Mutual, where he is responsible for making investment recommendations and analyzing companies across six industries: homebuilders, building products, restaurants, consumer products and metals and mining. In total, his coverage spans over $1 billion of owned assets. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in 2016, he was a High Yield Bond Analyst/Equity Generalist with The Nicholas Company for close to five years. As an IMCP student, Marco interned with Dana Investment Advisors in the fixed income area. He currently serves on the IMCP advisory board.

Marco says, “The IMCP program is really the best of both worlds for individuals looking to have a career in finance. You get the hands-on, fundamental coursework along with the ability to interact with investment professionals across different disciplines.”

Paige Radke (’15) is an Associate and Registered Representative at Landaas & Company, an independent investment management firm where she advises her client base to help them achieve financial success, performs research, and analyzes investment options. Her current position grew out of an internship she undertook at Landaas while a student in the Investment Management Certificate Program. Paige was in the first team of IMCP students working to advise on the Elmbrook Humane Society endowment portfolio, including helping the organization craft its first investment policy statement. She is an active member of the Lubar School of Business Alumni Chapter.

Paige says, “I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for the Investment Management Certificate Program. While learning the fundamentals of investing through real world experience, I also learned what it takes to succeed in the investment industry, how to network, and made connections that will last a lifetime.”
