    Props and weapons can add tension, realism, and excitement to a film—but they also require serious preparation and safety protocols. This workshop, facilitated by Peck School of the Arts own, Liv Mauseth, will introduce students to the fundamentals of prop weaponry, responsible on-set practices, and communication between directors, actors, and crew. Learn how to create the illusion of danger on screen while prioritizing safety behind the camera. This is NOT a hands-on demonstration.

    Intimate scenes require more than choreography—they require trust, communication, consent, and thoughtful collaboration. This workshop introduces students to the principles of intimacy coordination and explores how directors and filmmakers can create a safe, respectful environment when working with actors on intimate material. Students will learn practical approaches for communicating boundaries, preparing scenes, and supporting actors throughout the filmmaking process.
