Nicholas Perry is a painter based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received a BFA from UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts in 2018. Nicholas makes figurative paintings that draw on art-historical influences, personal photography, and other visual languages.
The 18-member UWM Jazz Ensemble performs music written or arranged specifically for a large jazz orchestra. The repertoire includes music from Duke Ellington and Count Basie as well as contemporary composers such as Maria Schneider, Tom Matta and Bob Mintzer.
The 2024 Contemporary Craft Exhibition & Sale will feature handmade student work from across many disciplines within the Peck School of the Arts, including Jewelry & Metalsmithing, Blacksmithing, Ceramics, Digital Fabrication, Sculpture, Design & Visual Communication, Fibers and Printmaking.
Join us in celebrating the hard work of the Design & Visual Communication seniors as they explore themes of speculative, campaign, and exhibition design in their work. They have spent the last three months researching, planning, and designing what our futures may look like and also what it might take to get us to these outcomes.

The UW-Milwaukee Youth Wind and Percussion Ensembles program ("UWAY") will present a concert of chamber ensemble pieces and repertoire for a large, symphonic wind-band.
This end of the term showing features works by the African Dance, Salsa/Merengue & Hip Hop classes.
The New Music Ensemble will perform works by contemporary and living composers. This eclectic musical group will also perform compositions for chamber ensembles and large ensembles mixing winds, brass, and percussion. Featured pieces are by student composers from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
For the first time, Chamber Music Milwaukee will present an inter-departmental collaboration that will unite the Music department with the Theater, Dance and Visual departments. UWM faculty and guests will perform chamber music repertoire that will be accompanied and enhanced by choreographic, theatrical and art works. The repertoire will include Duo Brouwer's Elogio de la Danze for solo guitar, Olivier Greif's Letters from Westerbork for two violins and voice and Leonard Bernstein's Dance Suite for brass quintet.

Raquel de Anda is an independent curator and cultural producer raised on the US-Mexico border of Laredo, TX. Recent exhibitions include Like The Waters We Rise: Climate Justice in Print (New York, NY). She is currently designing an initiative to support the cultural and artistic production of Borderlands communities on both sides of the US-Mexico border.
Winterdances features an evening of world-premiere dance works by guest artist LA-based choreographer Jackie Lopez and UW-Milwaukee dance faculty Daniel Burkholder, Tiffany Kadani, and Dan Schuchart with original music by Milwaukee-based composers.
The Vocal Arts Festival provides an opportunity for talented singers to interact with, perform for, and join their voices with peers from around the region as they learn and grow as both soloists and choral artists. The festival also includes the UWM Vocal Showcase Recital and the Final Concert with UWM Concert Chorale.
