The concert also features Symphony No. 5 by Ralph Vaughn Williams, a beautiful, powerful, and hopeful work by one of England’s greatest composers.

    pax duo is a dynamic percussion project created by Tristan Swihart and Micah Detweiler. Based in Goshen, IN and Madison, WI. pax duo aims to break preconceptions of contemporary percussion through collaboration and creation of new genre bending works. Their repertoire moves percussion music beyond the concert hall, incorporating lighting and electronics, and blending genres like indie, hip-hop, and funk into a contemporary classical context.
