UWM Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band Concert Featuring Concert Chorale

The UWM Wind Ensemble is the premier concert band in the Peck School of the Arts and has been recognized nationally and internationally through numerous invitations to perform at major music conferences. Emphasizing the single performer concept, the Wind Ensemble uses only players needed for a given piece, thus providing the greatest exposure for the exceptional musician. 

Concert Chorale is the flagship ensemble of the five-choir choral program at UW-Milwaukee. The choir comprises music majors and non-majors from across campus and performs music from a wide variety of styles, cultures, and time periods. Known for their eclectic concert programs, Chorale embraces a flexible and repertoire-driven approach to tone and style. The group has appeared at various state and regional conferences of the American Choral Directors Association and National Association for Music Education. Their reputation and Milwaukee location have afforded additional unique opportunities such as performing with Andrea Bocelli and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for Bocelli’s “Believe” tour, for a multimedia production of Final Fantasy video game music with international soloist and orchestra, and with the Rolling Stones for their “Zip Code” tour stop at Summerfest.
