On Friday July 6, 2018 Dr. Glady Mitchell-Walthour met with professors (including Dr. Regimeire Maciel (Public Policy) and Dr. Flavio Francisco (International Relations) and a Master’s level graduate student from the Federal University of ABC (based in Santo André) in the city of São Paulo to discuss the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s doctoral program in African and African Diaspora Studies. Professors from FUABC were excited to learn about the department of African and African Diaspora Studies and will disseminate information about the doctoral program to graduate students to encourage them apply.
